THE PROCESS...continued
After the programming effort, the focus transitions to a collaborative session to develop the auditorium design, technical accommodation, control positions and video accommodations for screens and camera layouts
The group will break into collaborative design teams to work through design concepts and coordination issues as needed. The goal is to design as far into the schematic design phase as possible. AD works with the architect in developing the auditorium design and provides direct input to the engineers for structural requirements, electrical requirements, cooling requirements, mechanical noise control, and space requirements for all of the special systems of acoustics, audio, video, lighting and stage systems.
POST-WORKSHOP DESIGN EFFORTS
Following the completion of our design workshop, we will continue to collaborate with the design team over the next few weeks to wrap up all documentation and make final changes and adjustments to the design specifics as needed. At the conclusion of the design session, the client typically will have a 3-D model of the room, visualizations and documentation.
