Brian Takacs has expertise in audio, AV, and control systems design. Since joining the New York office, he has provided lead design direction on numerous technical systems for corporate and university clients, including Millersville University Performing Arts Center, Millersville, PA; Messiah College School of the Arts, Grantham, PA; Renovation and Addition to the Shubert Theater, Minneapolis, MN; Barnes Foundation Museum Relocation to Downtown Philadelphia, PA; and the City Council Chamber Renovation at New York City Hall.

Prior to joining AD, Brian served as AV Designer with Convergent Technologies Design Group where he designed AV systems for educational facilities, performing arts centers and corporate office applications, as well as providing room acoustics, sound isolation and noise and vibration control design.

Brian holds a Masters of Arts degree in Acoustics and Audio Sciences from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics and Music from Franklin and Marshall College where he was honored with scholarships for both academic and music performance.
