COURTNEY MCGINNES
___________________________________________________________

Courtney McGinnes brings to our team a unique blend of depth in both architecture and acoustics. Courtney earned double masters degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, one in Architecture, the other in Building Sciences with a concentration in Architectural Acoustics. This blend of disciplines enables Courtney to produce “architecture-friendly” acoustic design.

Since joining the team at AD, Courtney has put her talents to work on projects such as the Amon G. Carter Stadium expansion at TCU, the video control room for the San Francisco Giants, the Craig Ranch Training Facility, the Connection Center at Brentwood Baptist Church and the new worship center for Cathedral of Praise in Charleston, SC.

Courtney received the 2005 Robert Bradford Newman Student Medal for Merit in Architectural Acoustics from the Acoustical Society of America. Her work has been published with The Acoustical Society of America as well as Noise Control Engineering.

As part of our team, Courtney has provided design input for auditoriums and multiuse venues. Prior to joining Acoustic Dimensions, Courtney mentored with Gary Siebein at Siebein Associates in Florida.

Courtney is a designer in the Dallas office.
