COURTNEY MCGINNES SCHOEDEL,
__________________________________________________________________
Courtney Schoedel brings to our team a unique blend of depth in both architecture and acoustics. Courtney earned double masters degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, one in Architecture, the other in Building Sciences with a concentration in Architectural Acoustics. This blend of disciplines enables Courtney to produce "architecture-friendly" acoustic design. Courtney's ability to take 3-D models and work with clients and design teams in real-time make her a vital part of our rapid-prototyping team.
Since joining the team at AD in January 2006, Courtney has put her talents to work on projects such as the Irving Entertainment Complex, Red Bull Stadium, the video control room for the San Francisco Giants, Amon G. Carter Stadium expansion at TCU, Bowling Green State University Stroh Center, Sullivan Theatre in Rockwall, SMU's Simmons Hall, the campus expansion at Watermark Community Church and the new 4,000-seat worship center for Gateway Church in Southlake.
Published in journals of the Acoustical Society of America as well as Noise Control Engineering, Courtney is an award-winning acoustician receiving the 2005 Robert Bradford Newman Student Medal for Merit in Architectural Acoustics.
Courtney is a consultant in the Dallas office.
