Jason McKelvey is deeply experienced in video production. His holistic approach encompasses not only designing for the live experience, but also for what the camera sees, how the crew operates and matching technology to artistic goals.
Since joining the team in 2007, Jason has participated in design teams for a wide array of projects including sports, entertainment, worship and performing arts. He specializes in HD and alternate venue systems.
Jason's background in live production has given him a passion for systems with high-functionality for production crews. Prior to joining AD, Jason spent five years directing 5-camera shoots for the weekly televised, Active Word. He has also provided video production of large-scale theatrical events, served as camera operator for broadcast concerts, studio productions and college sports . As a freelancer, he was also a director of photography and camera operator for multiple tv commercials
Jason graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Arts and Technology and serves as a consultant in our Dallas office.
