RYAN KNOX

Ryan Knox ’s background is in engineering and physics. As our resident “whiz kid” he applies theoretical knowledge to develop practical solutions and has developed audio systems for such complicated spaces as the Lake of Dreams at Wynn Las Vegas and the Crystal Cathedral. Ryan’s technical expertise combines a deep love of studying the theory of the way sound behaves within architecture and real-world experience of years spent mixing for live events.
In the early years, Ryan worked his way through college by interning for a sound reinforcement company. After completing his degree in Engineering and Physics, he accepted a position with a firm in Sioux Falls where he spent several years as a stagehand and monitor mixer.
Eventually, he returned to his field of study and joined a municipal engineering firm, but Ryan continued to freelance in the world of audio. In July of 2002, Ryan joined the team at AD, where he works as a systems designer. Ryan has also been one of the key programmers for the computer tools used by our strategic planning group, Strategic Dimensions.
Ryan is a consultant in our Dallas office.
