SCOTT PETROVITS

Scott Petrovits specializes in acoustics for spaces for public assembly. He combines strong backgrounds in architectural acoustics, noise quality, musical instrument performance, ear training, microphone technique and sound recording.

As a member of the Acoustic Dimensions staff since 2000, Scott has accumulated a considerable project portfolio, including performing arts centers, sporting venues, worship spaces, recording studios, and office spaces. Some notable examples of his project work include the Harlem Stage Gatehouse in New York City, WXPN Studios in Philadelphia, the new theater at Penn State York campus, Dance Theater Workshop in New York City, the Towson University Center for the Arts renovation/expansion, Fox News Radio in New York City, Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, and The Gross Theater at Horace Mann School in Riverdale.

A graduate of the University of Hartford’s Acoustics and Music program, Scott holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (2000).
