___________________________________________________________
Jim Burdette began his career installing professional systems for a national level a/v contractor. Later, he extended his talents to include mixing a wide range of live performances from jazz festivals to stadium concerts. Jim sharpened his talents and techniques in church production work and was recruited to Texas where he has served as the Director of Audio at some of the largest churches in the country including The Potter’s House and Prestonwood Baptist Church.
Jim began as a consultant with AD in January of 2000. Over the past seven years, he has been designing and commissioning systems for the AD team. Jim received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from UTD in May of 2005.
Jim’s passion for premier sound is reflected in his designs and evidenced by the piles of trade journals and magazines that he relishes each month. Always in search of the latest innovations, solutions and technologies, he has represented AD by speaking at industry events such as the Inspiration Conference and by writing articles for industry magazines such as Technologies for Worship magazine. His input on new products has also been sought by market leaders Midas and Soundcraft.
Jim is a consultant for our Dallas team.
