NEP Image Group owns and operates a total of nine studios in seven different locations throughout New York City. Among the television shows that are or have originated from these studios are "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" on Comedy Central, "Emeril Live" on The Food Network, "The Maury Povich Show" and "The People's Court." Acoustic Dimensions served as consultants on all these facilities, providing design input on studio planning, room acoustics, sound isolation, and noise control.

One of the unique facilities is the Grand Ballroom of the Penn Hotel, which was renovated for use as a 10,000 square foot television production facility with audience. Acoustical challenges that were successfully met included sound isolation from Amtrak and LIRR trains directly below, as well as noise control for two 100-ton AC units placed on the ballroom balcony to serve the studio facility. The project also included a 3000 square foot studio, and full control and production facilities.

Three years later, we worked with the facility developer to further divide the large studio into two spaces for simultaneous use by talk-shows with audience.
