The San Diego County Operations Center is undergoing a major renovation to its over 40 year old complex – currently the largest public works project in history of the region. The Center is being redeveloped and updated in phases to avoid disruption to employees and the services they provide to the community. The new complex of six buildings will include approximately 900,000 square feet of office space, a new parking structure and service buildings all designed in a compact walk-able campus. Additionally, the new center features energy efficient, green building technologies and has achieved LEED Gold certification.

Acoustic Dimension's scope of work included acoustics (room acoustics, noise control and sound isolation) and audio/video design for both offices and public spaces of assembly. Our role helped to insure that privacy issues were addressed and that the criteria set forth was met for the various offices, conference and training rooms.
