The Caruth Institute for Engineering Education at Southern Methodist University is dedicated to innovative math and science programs and curricula for students from kindergarten through college. Providing a home for the institute’s work, Caruth Hall was constructed to LEED Gold Standards and is the new and improved space for teaching, research and innovation. The hall is the third new engineering building constructed on the SMU campus in the last five years and features a new auditorium, seven distance learning classrooms, four teaching labs, conference and board rooms, multi-purpose room, amphitheater, lobbies and offices.
Acoustic Dimensions worked on designs for the entire building including distance learning systems, LCD displays, projection systems, sound reinforcement and playback systems, camera planning and control rooms.
