Acoustic Dimensions' scope includes a 1,000-seat auditorium, along with theatrical support spaces, used by both the CUNY school system and the City Tech Entertainment Technology program. The unique demands of each of these departments requires the AV systems to be user-friendly for commencement and other lecture-type events while still allowing the flexibility for theatrical performances and touring road shows.
The Theater AV systems are designed to support students in all aspects of entertainment production, from concerts, film/TV to sports and corporate events. Students are given a hands on experience in set design and construction along with lighting, sound and video design and show control systems. At the same time, the portions of the AV system are designed to support lecture and event presentations with simple one-button operation.
