Willow Creek Church
Willow Creek was one of the first churches to introduce a passion for the arts into the culture of their services. The philosophy is that in using modern tools of communication and production, they can minister to people who feel that church services have become outdated or irrelevant. Every weekend 17,000-plus people attend six services featuring cutting-edge music, drama and teaching specifically designed to connect with people who do not typically go to church.
Broadcast and editing capabilities were critical to the four local Willow Creek regional ministry sites and for the Willow Creek Association that does live broadcasts of some of their conferences to up to 100 cities around the country. The facility required a video production control room with a large videowall and a number of video edit suites located nearby to support post production.
