Petco Park is an open-air ballpark in downtown San Diego. It opened in 2004 as the home of Major League Baseball's San Diego Padres. This San Diego landmark is also an inspired commitment to adaptive re-use through the incorporation of the historic Western Metal Building.
In early 2011 it was determined that an upgrade was needed to the existing stadium sound system. Acoustic Dimensions worked with the staff at Petco Park to develop a design to replace the existing audio signal processors by Opening Day 2012. Our work includes processing equipment design, developing documentation for the on-site technical team and systems programming and commissioning.
