The New York Red Bulls have previously shared Giants Stadium in the Meadowlands Sports Complex; but, as of 2010, the team has a home of its own.
The soccer-specific stadium is a premier venue for both national and international soccer events. The two-tiered stadium features a European-style roof that covers all of the seats, but not the playing field and contains 52 suites for the ultimate viewing experience. The first row of seats are approximately 21 feet from the touchlines while the remaining are on a sharper incline, creating an intimate experience for fans who are closer to the playing field than in traditional US soccer stadiums.
The new stadium includes club rooms, concessions, broadcast facilities, offices, training facilities and practice fields as well as a retail village.
