FBC Orlando has a large worship center that had met its needs for over twenty years, but as the ministry grew and developed, the worship center needed to grow and develop as well.

Acoustic Dimensions worked with the leadership at First Baptist to brainstorm modifications to the worship facility that would allow the room to better support the ministry for the future. The plans included modifications to the front of house, seating areas, acoustics recommendations and integration of performance technologies.

Part of the challenge in the space was that the church had stayed technologically current, but the upgrades had been implemented piecemeal over time. As the ministry looked at the jump to high definition, they wanted to take a look at their broadcast, audio and lighting systems holistically so that they were well integrated.

The room was one of the first "mega churches" and while it served high capacity services well, the ministry wanted a more welcoming and "intimate" experience. AD developed a new seating layout and staging improvements while addressing acoustic and sightline issues in the room.

In conversations with High Construction and STH Architects, Acoustic Dimensions developed the 3-D model, renderings and animations to describe the design concepts and proposed modifications to the room.
