Bandera Road, an interdenominational church in San Antonio, Texas, needed to move to a new location after outgrowing the use of their original campus.
Phase one of their relocation included a 1,000 seat auditorium, an early childhood wing for children ages 6 weeks through 4 years, known as the Genesis Wing, and a pedestrian plaza which includes a water feature and baptismal pool, 3 covered pavilions (all with monitors, internet and telephone), 10 benches where people can relax and enjoy the beauty of the water and landscaping.
The idea was to create a community driven space with a large gathering room that could support the church’s highly creative production team and contemporary worship style on an extraordinarily tight budget.
AD designed basic performance systems with capacity for future upgrades and provided acoustics recommendations to be implemented over time.
