The Youth Auditorium was designed to have a lodge feel, something that is warmer and more inviting than the typical trend of industrial spaces. The auditorium contains three rear projection screens including a center screen comprised of two edge-blended projectors. A dedicated video production room provides students with the necessary gear to run the three screens and multiple cameras, and serves as a training platform so that they can grow their knowledge and skills. The sound systems is comprised of left-right line arrays and four dual 18" subwoofers to ensure that the room can sustain high energy youth events, while acoustical panels on the walls and duct liner on the ceiling ensure that the space feels warm and intimate. A pipe grid covers the entire room and provides a lower mounting platform for the theatrical lighting fixtures as well as adds interest to the space.
The children's auditoriums were designed so that each one has a unique feel and provides some inherent visual interest. The larger room, called "Extreme", has an asymmetrical stage and single large projection screen located to one side, while the smaller room, "Elevate", is a more traditional setup with one screen on each side of the stage. Even coverage and high gain before feedback were important requirements for the church, as were systems that could play loudly and energize the kids without sounding harsh. Each room contains a pipe grid to accommodate fixture mounting as well as the ability to hang banners and other soft goods.
