Lighting Concepts
After several years of meeting at a local high school, Crossline Community had the opportunity to lease a
campus from another church. The challenge presented to the design team was to take an existing formal worship
space with extensive daylight, a large pipe organ, and acoustics to match, and adapt it to a contemporary, bandbased worship program. In addition, the work needed to be accomplished on very little budget and using volunteer labor wherever possible. AD worked with the owner, architectural team, and local AV integrator to provide acoustical design for the space as well as conceptual ideas and high level design oversight of the audio, video, and lighting systems.
