This site opened in late 2005, and is a larger venue with stadium-style seating, a bookstore, a café, classrooms, and more. It’s situated on 92 acres of land next to Peltier Lake, and the church’s environmental stewardship team is working on restoring the natural prairie grasses and habitat in the area, making it a beautiful setting for the large windows and open architecture of this 85,000 square-foot facility. The live worship music is the same at all services, and the message is also identical. This is the location that people who are coming to EBC for the first time often choose, drawing the largest number of attenders each weekend.
This worship space was a part of Phase 1 of their new construction at the Lino Lakes Campus, which also included a backstage space, lobby and basic a/v production control room. The lobby supports the emphasis that they have on community with distributed audio for background music and paging, and distributed video for announcements and to provide a “window” into what is happening in the main Interim Worship Space. The 400 square foot production control room houses the character generator, switcher, and engineering equipment for the IMAG Systems
AD worked closely with BWBR and the Church, including touring a number of facilities, to determine how best to design their new room. AD provided the initial room design, platform and backstage layouts that the architect used in their masterplan. AD also provided design services for acoustics, audio, video projection, video production, theatrical lighting and rigging.
