FBC of Atlanta—under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Charles F. Stanley—is considered to be the foundation of spiritual development for a multitude of followers internationally. Acoustic Dimensions worked with the First Baptist Church to renovate their existing worship facility to better meet the needs of its congregation.
AD provided design for acoustics with an evaluation of the existing HVAC, audio systems upgrades which included full design for speakers and a new digital console for the control booth. The challenges in designing for this renovation included dealing with a noisy HVAC and 2 different ceiling levels. While the center of the room was typical in height, the majority of the room’s ceiling was lower. The design of the speaker system required even coverage and proper imaging so that everyone in room could enjoy the same worship experience.
