The congregation of Harvest Time Assembly of God in Greenwich, CT is in the process of constructing a new 40,000ft2 facility that will include a 1000 Sanctuary, Fellowship Hall, Classrooms and Support Spaces. The expansion will nearly triple the size of the existing facility which opened in 2004.
Acoustic Dimensions has provided guidance on both Acoustic and Audio/Video. The new sound system is designed to support the energetic, high volume services that allowed the congregation to expand so rapidly over the past years. We worked with the client and architect in developing guidelines for Room Acoustics, Sound Isolation and Noise/Vibration Control.
The project was broken down into two phases. Construction on Phase 1 began in 2001 and was completed in 2003. In Spring 2008, the team began working on Phase 2. Using the same footprint and exterior that the Town of Greenwich approved about 10 years ago, the sanctuary seating plan was altered to accommodate 1,000 worshippers.
