Stonebriar Community wanted the architecture to draw people to the living God - to feel like a church and portray a sense of worship. A place where Christ is the pinnacle and where God is taken seriously. It was important that the facility provide a strong connection between the platform and the congregation to support preaching, and the acoustics of the facility needed to enhance the traditional worship style that includes a large orchestra, choir, organ, and congregational worship. These conflicting goals were resolved through careful planning of the room and platform acoustics and with the implementation of an electronic acoustical enhancement system.
The sanctuary seats 3,000 people in a fan shaped room utilizing a sloped floor and terrace seating. An audio production room and isolation booth provide capabilities for audio recording and post-production in a highly controlled environment.
