The Village Church
A unique opportunity was presented to The Village which allowed them to purchase a vacant grocery store property in Flower Mound to adapt for use as the main worship center and children’s worship spaces. The goal of the facility was to maintain the look and feel of their existing properties with an intimate and welcoming worship experience. The space was designed to support contemporary worship and video sermons, while maintaining a flat floor and terraced seating so that it can be used for a variety of events.
The Flower Mound Campus serves as the main campus for the multi-site congregation which has satellite venues in Denton and Dallas. (Acoustic Dimensions provided consulting services for the Denton Campus.)
Initial concepts for the project were developed by the client, Shanks Architects and Acoustic Dimensions in a rapid-prototyping process.
